Bridgewaters – New York, NY: Purva + David Wedding

I love it when clients become friends. Purva and David contacted me about a year before their wedding, having heard about me through several friends. We met and hit it off immediately. We shot a killer engagement session (soon to be posted!) and I subsequently, had the incredible pleasure of shooting their Sangeet and wedding.

My favorite Indian tradition, the Baraat, usually has the groom being ushered to the family of the bride, surrounded by friends and family, drums and music, while riding a white horse. David rode a motorcycle. Seriously bad ass.

Their ceremony, held at Bridgewaters, overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge, was a riot of color, music and laughter. They had decided not to do wedding rings and David surprised her by pulling two out in the middle of their ceremony.

The day would not have been complete without the flower girls joining Purva and David in their first dance. Just adorable.

Thank you, Purva and David! You rock and I wish you a long life together and I hope our friendship grows over the years with it.
