About Me
My perspective on weddings is the product of where I learned photography: New York City. I cut my teeth shooting everything from rock and roll in grungy clubs in The Village, to live theatre on Broadway, thumping clubs in the Meatpacking District, the back rooms of political campaigns in Brooklyn, fashion on rooftops in Williamsburg and mayoral inaugurations for City Hall. This disjointed fusion of experiences walked me straight into weddings...I had the same sort of "aha!" moment when I met my wife, Kate after seventeen years of dating. "Oh...this is where I am supposed to be!"
I now live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with my wife and two children, Gus (7) and Cyrus (5).
My goal as a wedding photographer (in addition to providing to providing you incredible photos) is to make certain that the photography is the most relaxing and fun part of your day rather than a speed bump in your well-laid plans.
I am available to shoot your wedding wherever you are celebrating it! On my wish list: Nepal, India, St. Petersburg (Russia), Thailand, anywhere in Scandinavia and Jackson, Wyoming. My photography has been featured in The New York Times, The Village Voice, The Knot and Bride.
